The Centre of Radiation will be a facility dedicated to enhancing the understanding and practice of the philosophy of Buddhism.

At a time when affairs of the world are planned with political and economic strategies for materialistic development, there is an urgent need to re-examine the resulting impact on moral values and spirituality of the people. Therefore the Foundation aims to create a sanctuary to explore a simple way of sustainable and harmonious living.

The Light of Asia Foundation would operate in several countries with the academies attached to each location linked to the Centre of Radiation for Buddhism.
