DIRECTORATE

In view of the sensitivity of the content of the Epic Motion Picture, it has been decided that the advice of a Directorate will be sought in the Direction of the Film.
The Directorate will comprise of:

Ven. Bhikkhu Mettavihari as Chairman, who has wide experience in the Audio Visual media with two Television Channels being operated under his direction. ‘Dharmavahini’ being an exclusive Buddhist channel and ‘LearnTV’, which is an exclusive educational channel. He is also responsible for the digital version of the Sri Lankan Tipitaka which is hosted on his website www.metta.lk.  Ven. Mettavihari is of Danish origin.

Chandran Rutnam is a film maker of international repute with several films to his credit and has been involved as the Line Producer for several Hollywood films spanning over 30 years.  He has directed several Local films that have won awards and his latest film ‘Road from Elephant Pass’ has been acclaimed internationally.

Geoff Burton is a leading Cinematographer of distinction in Australia who also Directed several feature Films, Documentaries and TV Movies. He is also a Script writer and a Producer.

Saman Weeraman was responsible for the writing of the initial script and has been incorporated into the Directorate to ensure the authenticity of the content of the Epic Motion Picture.

Manisha Koirala the Bollywood Film Celebrity has agreed to be a member of the Directorate. Her expertise in the film industry will be invaluable for the Production, Direction and Marketing of the Film.
